About me

Marina Appel

Meet Marina

My journey as a coach began in 2020, when I went through what was perhaps the deepest existential crisis of my life. Picture this: a mother of two young children, on maternity leave, having practically “escaped” from a serious episode of professional burnout. At that point, my work brought nothing but exhaustion — every Monday morning felt like torture, and by Friday, I was so drained I didn’t want anything at all. But as it turned out, maternity leave didn’t become the salvation I was hoping for either.

What I truly longed for was a life where my profession inspired me, where there was space for creativity, balance between work, family, and self. A life filled with meaning, clear goals, and that deep, real sense of happiness.

Honestly, I had been dreaming of such a life for many years. But fear held me back: I was scared to change, scared to lose what I had worked so hard to achieve. I often told myself that maybe I simply wasn’t good enough to have what I truly wanted. It was that painful feeling of being stuck — not knowing how to break through inner barriers, where to begin, or where to find the strength for change.

And then came our move to another country, adding all the challenges of emigration. And as the final touch, the pandemic arrived, splitting my life into a clear “before” and “after".

That was my Rubicon. The moment I realized: I simply couldn’t go on like this. No one but me could make me happy. It was time to stop drifting with circumstances and take the wheel of my life into my own hands.

I understood I had to take responsibility for my inner state, to stop looking for external reasons why I was feeling “bad.” I realized that the decision to live my best life was my choice — and if I wanted things to change, I had to start acting, even if the path ahead was still foggy.

This difficult but incredibly transformational period unlocked what I now see as my core strength: the ability to see the heart of a problem, to navigate chaos (both external and internal), and to help others build clear, practical solutions that don’t just relieve tension but create a solid foundation for growth and forward movement. I didn’t just help myself — I discovered that I could be a guide for others who feel stuck.

I know how hard the path is from crisis to your true self. I know how often you want to give up when nothing seems to work and there are no visible results. And my mission is to make sure you don’t give up. Because I deeply believe: you are unique. You have an unlimited potential to live the life you dream of and achieve what now feels unreachable.

During the session I had a feeling of unconditional care for me, as if I was wrapped in a warm blanket and offered flavored tea. In addition to solving my issue, I also received a boost of energy as a bonus.
