1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of coaching services provided by Marina Appel, including individual coaching sessions, workshops, retreats, and masterminds. By booking or participating in our services, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to both online and offline services, including use of the website www.marina-appel.com.
2. Services Provided
We offer coaching services, including but not limited to:
Individual coaching sessions (online and in-person)
Group workshops
Retreats
Masterminds and group coaching programs
These services aim to support personal and professional development but do not replace medical, psychological, or financial advice.
Services are available to adults (18+) only, unless stated otherwise.
3. Booking and Payment
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer or direct payment with provided link.
Full payment is required before the service unless otherwise agreed.
For retreats, workshops, and masterminds, a deposit may be required, which is non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
All prices are stated exclusive of VAT.
The client is responsible for any transfer fees or charges for international payments.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Individual coaching sessions: Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for rescheduling. Cancellations within less than 24 hours are non-refundable.
Workshops, retreats, and masterminds: Cancellations are subject to specific policies communicated upon booking.
If we need to cancel or reschedule a service, we will offer a refund or alternative dates.
Refunds are made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information when booking a service.
Clients must be punctual for sessions. Delays may result in a shortened session.
Clients understand that coaching is a collaborative process, and results depend on their engagement.
The client confirms that they have no medical contraindications to participating in activities, if applicable.
6. Coach Responsibilities
We commit to providing services professionally and with respect for the individual needs of the client.
We are committed to maintaining confidentiality and protecting client personal data in accordance with the law.
We provide guidance and support but do not guarantee specific outcomes, as success depends on many factors, including the client’s own actions.
7. Confidentiality
All coaching sessions are confidential. We do not share client information unless required by law or with explicit consent. An exception is made in cases where there is a threat to the life or safety of the client or third parties, where information may be disclosed to competent authorities.
8. Use of Photos and Media
We may take photos and videos during workshops, retreats, and masterminds for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials).
If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform us in writing before the event.
Consent to photo and video recording can be withdrawn at any time in writing; however, this does not affect materials already published prior to the withdrawal.
We respect privacy and will not use images in a way that could be considered inappropriate or misleading.
9. Liability
Our coaching services are provided in good faith and based on professional experience.
We are not responsible for any decisions made by clients based on the coaching sessions.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
We are not liable for force majeure events that may affect the provision of services (e.g., natural disasters, technical failures).
10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during coaching, workshops, retreats, or masterminds remain the intellectual property of Marina Appel. They may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without permission.
11. Data Protection
We comply with GDPR and French data protection laws. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, legal action in the competent courts of France. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts where the company is registered.
